Catholic school to be subject of BBC documentary

Holyrood Secondary School in Glasgow is to be the subject of a BBC Scotland documentary to be screened later this year

The show, entitled High School, will follow pupils and staff in the current academic year, capturing day-to-day life at the Scotland’s largest secondary school in a series of three hour-long programmes.

Friel Kean, the programme’s production company has already filmed a pilot programme, featuring the race to become head boy and head girl at Holyrood, which has been described as ‘captivating viewing.’

A BBC spokeswoman said: “It will be the inside story of a year in the life of Europe’s largest state secondary school.”
