Baby steals the show at pro-life group’s birthday bash
Catholics across Glasgow and beyond rejoiced in life last week, as they came together to celebrate the Cardinal Winning Pro-Life Initiative’s 21st birthday Mass.
The evening began with a holy hour at 6pm in Blessed John Duns Scotus Church in the Gorbals, followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 7pm.
The pro-life Mass, which is part of a series of monthly Masses held to pray for the pro-life cause, was a particularly special occasion for the Pro-life Initiative, as they marked the 21st anniversary of the group’s formation.
To mark the important day in the group’s history, Archbishop Philip Tartaglia of Glasgow came to lead the congregation in the celebration of the Mass.
People young and old joined in the evening of prayer, hope and thanksgiving, including one little member of the congregation.
Six-month-old Niall Francis was there with his mum Emma, and was pictured with both Archbishop Tartaglia and the Sisters of the Gospel of Life, as all involved enjoyed teas and coffees together after the Mass.
