Police have charged a 12-year-old boy in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour at a church in Fife.

Parishioners and the parish priest at Ss John and Columba’s Church in Rosyth were allegedly attacked with eggs and anti-Catholic abuse on Tuesday as they attended Mass.

Police Scotland said they are continuing to investigate the incident and a report will be submitted to the Children’s Reporter.
