Papal Visit makes it to DVD in time for Christmas
Special souvenir available for a limited time for pre-order
Tens of thousands of us made pilgrim journeys to Edinburgh or to Bellahouston Park on September 16th to share in the joy of welcoming Pope Benedict XVI as he began his four day visit to Great Britain. Some had been present for the visit of his predecessor in 1982. For others this was a unique experience, perhaps even once in a lifetime.
A DVD of the Holy Father’s visit to Scotland has now been produced in time for Christmas. It features a welcome from the children of Scotland through our many primary schools; a timeline of the day’s events from Pope Benedict’s arrival at Glasgow, his meeting with Queen Elizabeth, the St. Ninian’s day Parade, the build up to Mass at Bellahouston Park and the Mass celebrated at Bellahouston. There is also some previously unseen footage on the DVD which will delight those who took part in the day and even those who watched on TV.
This is a limited edition commemorative DVD which can be treasured for a lifetime and is a unique publication of an unforgettable event in Scotland.
An ideal souvenir or Christmas gift, the DVD costs only £10.99 and is available through parishes in Scotland or through http://www.beingcatholic.org and http://www.priestsforscotland.org.uk. The DVD will be available for a limited time, so don’t miss your opportunity to pre-order now.
